MARQUETTE -- UPDATE: President Obama has wrapped up his speech at Northern Michigan University.  He will be leaving Marquette around 3:00 p.m..

UPDATE: President Obama is now in Marquette and preparing to address the crowd at Northern Michigan University.

President Obama will be speaking at Northern Michigan University Thursday afternoon.   Air Force One will be landing at Sawyer International Airport at 11:45 a.m.

President Obama will be unveiling a plan to "Win the Future" through expanding wireless internet access to 98% of Americans.
    
The White House estimates that benefits to our economy and society from this access will reduce the budget deficit by $9.6 billion dollars.

The announcement will be made in Marquette because it is a city where local businesses have been able to grow as a result of broadband access.
