"Child Building" Expo set for this month

TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Families looking for a fun and educational way to spend a mid-winter Friday evening should mark their calendars for Grand Traverse Academy’s Child Building Expo, planned for Friday, February 11, from 4:30-7:30 pm in the school’s Elementary wing. 
The Expo is designed for families of children ages two through ten and focuses on the development of children’s motor, language, intellectual, social and emotional skills.  Special features include raptor education with Rebecca Lessard from Wings of Wonder; a visit from local firefighters; pet adoption information from A C PAW; bounce houses, lots of fun crafts and much more!   

Pre-registration is not necessary and the event is free and open to the public.  For more information, call the school at (231) 995-0665.  

ABOUT GRAND TRAVERSE ACADEMY – A tuition-free public charter school, Grand Traverse Academy was founded in 2000 and serves students in grades K-12.  It is located at 1245 Hammond Road East in Traverse City, Michigan.
