Antrim Co. Sheriff in search for robber

BELLAIRE, MI -- Antrim Co. Sheriff Daniel Bean informs 7&4 News his department is in search for a "strong-arm robber."

According to the Sheriff's Office, a robbery occurred at a Bellaire law office just after 8 am, Thursday morning.

While opening for business, a 39 year old female was assaulted and robbed of her own personal monies by a lone male subject.  The suspect left the area on foot prior to the arrival of law enforcement.  Deputies from the Antrim County Sheriff’s Department were on scene within a couple minutes of the call. 

Personnel from the Antrim County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police and the Bellaire Police Department processed the crime scene and are investigating the incident at this time.  A Michigan State Police K-9 unit responded to the incident as well, in an effort to locate the suspect.
