BENZIE COUNTY, MI -- A head-on collision in Benzie County sent three men to the hospital on Saturday night.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m., the Benzie County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting an accident involving a Dodge Dakota and a Jeep Cherokee. The Dakota, which had two people inside, crossed the center line on M-115 in Joyfield Township and struck the Jeep Cherokee, which was occupied by one man.
Deputies said The Jaws of life were used to extract both drivers. All three men were rushed to Munson Medical Center. At this time, their injuries do not appear to be life threatening, official said.
