KALKASKA TOWNSHIP -- Icy conditions and high speeds are to blame for a fatal three car accident in Kalkaska Township.
The crash happened Saturday Morning on M-72 at Rapid City Road.
Investigators say the driver who caused the accident was driving too fast, lost control and slid into the east bound lane, causing a three-car-pileup.
The driver who was traveling too fast was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other drivers were treated for minor injuries.
The Kalkaska Accident Investigation Team is continuing the investigation.
