There is another strike against the casino in Vanderbilt.
Attorney General Bill Schuette this week filed a legal brief in U.S. District Court supporting the effort to close the casino operated by the Bay Mills Indian Community.
The Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians earlier requested an injunction to close the casino saying it violated gaming laws because it was not on tribal land. A.G. Schuette supports this request.
Bay Mills says it will keep the casino doors open until the case goes to court.
