Driver hospitalized after crashing into tree

BLAIR TWP. -- A Grand Traverse County driver is hospitalized after crashing her car into a tree.

It happened Tuesday morning on M-37 near Norton Road in Blair Township. 

Officials believe the driver may have lost control due to freezing rain.  Several other accidents were also reported in the area.

Northbound lanes of M-37 were shut down for about an hour while the accident scene was cleaned up.
