GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- Police say a Grand Traverse County man who died after a fight with his neighbor died from internal injuries. An autopsy shows 68-year-old Jack Headlee died of internal bleeding and a broken back.
In December, Headlee was pushed off the porch at his home on South Long Lake Road in Green Lake Township. He then went inside to called 911 and fell a second time, bumping his head. Headlee died later from those injuries.
The autopsy results are now being sent to the prosecutor to determine if any charges will be filed.
