After another dangerous ice rescue, state troopers are urging people to use caution on lakes and ponds.

Officers said two snowmobilers fell through thin ice Saturday afternoon on Higgins Lake.

Troopers arrived to find two men in the water at two different locations.  They had been in the freezing water for over 20 minutes. Thankfully, troopers were able to pull both victims to safety.

The men were treated for hypothermia at Grayling Mercy Hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.

Again, troopers remind you to make sure ice is safe before heading out.
