FARWELL -- A Farwell man is behind bars after the Clare County Sheriff said he threatened a school liaison officer.

The death threat forced Farwell Schools to be on lock down Wednesday for three hours.  The schools were not involved in the threat but were locked down as a precaution.

Shawn Harmon, 38,  is charged with Telecommunications Service, Malicious Use, which is a six-month misdemeanor.  He will be back in court on January 26.
