Grand Traverse Resort Winter Activities
TRAVERSE CITY -- If you're feeling a little cooped up in the house with the heavy snow, the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is hosting activities for the entire family this week.
They're calling it the 8 Days of Snow Days.
They will be doing snowmobile rides, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, bonfires and resort gift card sweepstakes.
"We want our locals to know they're welcome as much as our guests are," said Uriah Petersen, Grand Traverse Resort Healthclub Manager, "we want the locals to re-explore winter."
Many of these events will cost for rental, but some are free, like the daily kids activities that run from 12:00 p.m -1:00 p.m.
The Grand Traverse Resort Clubhouse is open from 10:00 a.m - 9:00 p.m through January 1st and from 10:00 a.m - 5 p.m on Sunday, January 2nd.
