BELLAIRE, MI -- If you pick up a copy of "MORE" magazine this month, make sure to check out the section called "Happy Health Year."
It names the Top 10 Health Trends of 2010, and number four on the list is "Can't sleep, drink tart cherry juice."
The reason this section is important is because Traverse Bay Farms, a Northern Michigan company located in Bellaire, is mentioned.
They sell Fruit Advantage Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate, made in Northern Michigan, with Michigan-grown Montmorency tart cherries.
"It's very exciting. Not only does it give us national recognition as my company, but just as important, it gives national recognition to the tart cherry grown right here in Northern Michigan," said Traverse Bay Farms owner Andrew LaPointe.
Tart cherry juice helps with healthy joint function, soothes sore muscles, and helps maintain sleep patterns.
Also, make sure to check out Tom Arnold's upcoming movie called, "Walk a Mile in my Prada's." LaPointe says the famous salsa Traverse Bay Farms sells is product-placed in the movie.
