Most banks will close early on Christmas Eve
If you need some cash or want to cash a check before Christmas, you better plan ahead now.
Most banks close early Friday, which is Christmas Eve.
We spoke with Northwestern Bank in Gaylord.
They close at one Friday afternoon, and say early afternoon is typically when you'll see other banks closing their doors.
Thanks to new technology though, there is another way you can access your money and take care of those last minute transactions.
"In the past, they weren't able to do telephone banking, or bank by phone, or online banking, where they can do transfers up to 10 at night on same-day transactions," said Karen McCaffrey, Northwestern Bank Branch Manager in Gaylord.
