Cross-Country ski trails are groomed and ready to go across the state
There are 23 cross-country trails maintained by the DNRE, and 14 of them will be groomed this season by grants and volunteers.
DNRE’s Forest Management Division Chief Lynne Boyd says the state budget continues to be a challenge, but local groups and grants will help provide cross-country skiing, just not to the extent it has been offered at in the past.
