GLADWIN TOWNSHIP -- Troopers from the Michigan State Police Gladwin Post are investigating the death of a Gladwin County resident.
Jeffrey Robert Beougher, 39, was found dead at his home in Gladwin Township at about 5:00 p.m. Monday.
Investigators say he was shot in the chest.
A 37-year old woman was arrested and will be charged with open murder pending arraignment.
The Michigan State Police Gladwin Post is being assisted by the Michigan State Police Crime Lab, Michigan State Police Mt. Pleasant Post, Gladwin County Sheriff’s Department, Gladwin Police Department, Gladwin County Prosecutor’s Office, Gladwin County Medical Examiner and Gladwin County EMS.
