Update: Kohl's reopens after threat

GARFIELD TOWNSHIP -- The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office has completed its inspection of Kohl's on US 31 after a threat was reported.

Investigators say nothing hazardous was found at the store.

The sheriff's office says a threatening note was discovered around 2 Friday afternoon. 

The sheriff's office worked with management and employees of Kohl's to evacuate and secure the building. 

The store was closed for about four hours.  It reopened at 6 p.m.
