AG tells Vanderbilt Casino to "cease operations immediately"

VANDERBILT, MI -- 7&4 news has just received a letter from the State Attorney General's Office that was sent to the Bay Mills Indian Tribe.

It demands that their controversial Vanderbilt Casino cease operations immediately.

The letter states that the casino does not meet legal standards and "the state -- therefore demands that Bay Mills immediately cease operation of all class-three gaming at the Vanderbilt Casino."

The Attorney General's Office is demanding cease operations immediately, or "the State will take appropriate action to ensure compliance with its laws and compel closure of the Vanderbilt casino."
