7&4 News told you earlier in the week that airport director, Steve Cassens will retire in February. Now an interim director has been named.
TRAVERSE CITY -- 7&4 News reported earlier in the week that Cherry Capital Airport, Steve Cassens will retire this February.
Cherry Capital Airport announced on Thursday that the Personnel Committee of the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission met and will make a recommendation to name assistant airport director, Kevin Klein as interim airport director. The recommendation will be made to the full commission at the regularly scheduled monthly meeting on December 21st.
Steve Cassens worked with Cherry Capital Airport for 34 years.
