LAKE CITY -- A Lake City woman has been charged with trying to hire someone to murder her husband.
Lucy Hale reportedly thought she was talking to a hit man -- but actually asked an undercover officer to kill her husband and burn their house down.
Investigators say the couple was going through a divorce and she wanted her husband dead before a final divorce hearing.
Hale has a criminal history. She served time in prison for Attempted Arson.
