TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office is working with the Grand Traverse County Road Commission to close South Airport Road between Garfield and Townline Roads, near the airport in Garfield Township.
South Airport Road is extremely hazardous and impassable in some locations.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently asking all motorists to stay off of South Airport Road between Garfield and Townline Road.
The Road Commission may be barricading South Airport Road between Garfield and Townline Road until tomorrow morning.
