NORTHPORT, MI -- Sunday afternoon folks took a step back in time at the annual Grand Traverse Lighthouse Christmas event.
Volunteers recreated a traditional 1920's 1930's McCormick family Christmas.
The McCormick Family were keepers of the lighthouse for many years.
The Christmas event included a variety of trees, stuffed stockings, a dining table full of the holiday favorites, Christmas music, and crafts for the kids.
Lighthouse Board Vice President Karl Gagnon says, "We just wanted to give people a chance to see the Lighthouse in a different manner than in the summertime. It's decorated beautifully and the wind...the snow just makes it a special place."
Christmas at the Lighthouse wrapped up with a visit from Santa who gave two free winter sleds to some lucky kids.
