The National Weather Service has issued a lake effect snow warning.
Antrim, Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Manistee and Wexford Counties all fall under the advisory, which is in place until 5 p.m. Monday.
The Weather service is expecting moderate to heavy lake effect snow accumulations through Monday.
A north flow of colder air passing over the relatively warm waters of Lake Michigan will cause snow to continue throughout Sunday.
