The annual kick off is this Saturday, November 20th at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.
TRAVERSE CITY -- The Toys for Tots campaign will kick off Saturday, November 20th at the Great Wolf Lodge. The kick-off event will be held from noon until 2 p.m. at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. The event will feature a Santa fly-in aboard a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter. A children’s choir from Blair and Westwoods elementary schools will sing Christmas carols.
There will also children’s activities, refreshments, tours of the helicopter, police and fire displays, a police tracking dog and a chance to visit with Santa. Those making a donation will be eligible to enter to win a variety of door prizes from Great Wolf Lodge, Bill Marsh Auto, Fox Grand Traverse and other corporate sponsors.
