ROGERS CITY, MI -- A teenager has died after she was hit by a truck in Rogers City.
Officers said the accident happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday on US-23.
Investigators said the woman, 19, was crossing the highway when she was hit.
The teen was transported to Alpena Regional Hospital and later airlifted to Saginaw St. Mary’s Hospital, where she died.
At this time, police do not believe alcohol was a factor the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
