TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Another film festival is hitting the State Theater this Sunday.
The Michigan Land Use Institute is hosting the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival.
It features various short films as well as "No Impact Man"... a film that addresses many issues that are important to many Northern Michigan Residents such as buying local and supporting clean energy sources.
Shauna Fite, Policy Specialist for the Michigan Land Use Institute said, "We decided it would be a great fit for Traverse City, a city that definitely is in love with films and very passionate about environmental issues as well and it lines up really great with the work that we do at the Michigan Land Use Institute."
The festival starts at 1 PM this Sunday and runs until 4:30.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
There's also an after party at Left Foot Charley beginning at 5 followed by music from Breathe Owl Breathe at Higher Grounds.
