Attempted abduction at Baker College

CADILLAC -- The Wexford County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted abduction in the parking lot of Baker College.

The female student was approached by a man Tuesday evening around 8:35.  The woman says the man had a knife and told her to get into his car.   The woman got away and the man ran off.

The suspect is described as a white man in is early 20's, 5'5" - 5'8" tall with a medium build.  He was wearing a dark hat, dark sweat shirt and jeans.

The Sheriff's office is asking students and others to be aware of their surroundings at all times.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Wexford County Sheriff's Office at 231-779-9211 or Silent Observer at 231-779-9215.
