Preparing For Election Day
TRAVERSE CITY -- As candidates make a final push, polling stations are getting set up for the big day.
Precincts across Northern Michigan and the state are anticipating large crowds at the polls. Michigan Secretary of State, Terri Lynn Land estimates about 3.8 million voters across the state will turn out for the election.
The 2006 election generated a roughly 60% voter turnout in Traverse City. This year numbers are expected to be about the same.
