As the holidays approach, no military member should be missed
EMMET CO., MI -- Veteran Affairs offices across Northern Michigan encourage you to give them the addresses of your loved ones serving in the military.
The Emmet County VA says the time is approaching quickly to send out gifts to troops for the holidays.
They're looking for the addresses of those men and women who are serving here in the US or overseas.
Several people want to send gifts, and the VA wants to make sure they don't miss any of the American Heroes.
"It's tough over there, especially in war zones, it's really tough, and this gives them a great lift and boost for their morale," said Jim Alton, Director of Emmet County Veteran Affairs.
The Emmet County office is open Tuesday through Friday from 9-3.
