Damaging winds and storms have left thousands without power across Northern Michigan.
Officials with Great Lakes Energy report 2,627 of its members are without power Tuesday throughout the cooperative’s 26 county service area.
Power has been restored so far today to 770 of the total estimated 3,397 members affected by the massive storm system that hit the state Tuesday morning.
The 2,627 members without power are located in parts of Antrim, Barry, Charlevoix, Crawford, Kalkaska, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Newaygo, Oceana and Osceola counties.
Most of the outages are in parts of Lake, Mason and Oceana counties.
No estimated restoration times are available at this time. Damaging winds are expected to continue into Wednesday afternoon which could delay restoration efforts.

High winds, gusting up to 40 miles an hour and higher, have triggered 1,1,50 outages in the Cherryland Electric Cooperative coverage area as of 2:30 PM Tuesday.
Most of the outages are in the southern part of the Cherryland coverage area – Thompsonville, Karlin, Interlochen and Lake Ann.
Cherryland serves 33,000 homes and businesses in a six-county area, including Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Wexford, Benzie, Manistee and Kalkaska.
Consumers Energy is dealing with about 18,000 outages. Officials say the majority of the customers impacted with Consumers are downstate, but several thousand are in Northern Michigan.
