TRAVERSE CITY -- The Grand Traverse County community is helping raise money for the Senior Center building project while having a good meal.
The 6th Annual chicken dinner and silent auction will be taking place throughout the day Tuesday at the Cottage Cafe.
The Traverse City Senior Center hopes to pass previous totals of more than $10,000 raised at the event. All of the money raised will help pay for construction of a new 4-million dollar senior center building.
The Cottage Cafe is located at 420 Munson Ave. in Traverse City. The chicken dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m..
Tickets are the door are $10.
