PINE TWP. -- An Alzheimer's patient, missing for more than eighteen hours is found in Montcalm County.
Vera Mihlfeld, 78, was reported missing at 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Montcalm County Sheriff's Office searched the area on foot and also deployed several K-9 teams. A helicopter was also called in to help in the search.
Mihlfeld was found near a swam in a wooded area of Pine Township around 10:30 a.m. Monday. She was located by deputies and members of the Mid Michigan Working Dogs Search and Rescue Team.
Mihlfeld was conscious and was taken to the hospital to be checked over, but officials believe she is okay.
