TRAVERSE CITY -- Flu season is here and health officials are urging people to protect themselves with a flu shot.
The Grand Traverse County Health Department is holding several immunization stations throughout the next two weeks. The flu shots are being offered next to Subway in the Grand Traverse Mall.
Children 18 and under can get their flu shots free of charge. The health department bills all insurances including Medicaid and Medicare or charges $30.
No appointment is necessary during the following times:
October 12 2:30-5:30 PM
October 14 2:30-5:30 PM
October 15 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
October 19 10:00 AM -1:00PM & 2:30-5:30 PM
October 21 2:30-5:30 PM
October 22 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
October 26 2:30-5:30 PM
October 28 10:00 AM -1:00 PM & 2:30-5:30 PM
October 29 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
