EVART -- An Osceola County bus driver is back behind the wheel after she allowed a registered sex offender to ride to and from school with children on board.

It happened September 27 in Evart. A grandparent noticed the 23-year-old was riding the public school bus and called police.

Patrick Wilson of Evart was arraigned for being a registered sex offender in a student safety zone earlier this month. The charge is a misdemeanor and carries a penalty of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

The bus driver was suspended without pay during the investigation.   She was off the bus route for about two weeks and was back on duty the week of October 11.

Do you think the bus driver should be back on the job?  Tell us "Your Point of View" by taking part in the poll below and leave your comments on the issue.
