LANSING (AP) -- Fans of the popular Pure Michigan advertising campaign now have the chance to wear the logo.
George Zimmermann of Travel Michigan, the agency that created and launched the Pure Michigan campaign, says merchandise is being added following hundreds of inquiries to help expand the reach of the brand.
Campaign organizers announced last month that the campaign was tailing off for the year because of the state's government budget problems, with the fall advertising campaign being canceled.
A portion of sales from the online Pure Michigan store will help support the advertising campaign. The merchandise line includes sweatshirts, T-shirts, golf shirts, hats, umbrellas, travel mugs and golf balls.
