Child & Family Services of Northwestern Michigan named the winner of the annual campaign.
TRAVERSE CITY -- A few weeks ago Gina Aranki with Child & Family Services of Northwestern Michigan came on 7&4 News Today for an interview. She told us about the annual Brown Bag Campaign that aims to raise money for the needs of children in foster care.
Part of the campaign includes a competition of decorating a bag, for the annual event.
The winner was Lee Ann Hill from Kalkaska! Child & Family Services says they choose Lee Ann's design because it shows a nest, which promotes safety, security and health for children and families in our community.
Lee Ann also wins a gift certificate to The Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.
Child & Family Services wants to thank all of those who participated. Each of them will receive a small gift of CFS note cards for having decorated their bags so nicely!
