MACKINAC CO. -- A Mackinac County road is repaired, but not before a driver got stuck in a large hole.

An UpNorthLive user sent the photos of the crash that took place Friday on East Lake Road, just north of Moran.

The photographer said his fishing guide was rounding the corner and thought there was a puddle of water on the road.   The culvert that washed out was about 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep.

It took about 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck to find the group and pull them out.  No one was hurt and there was very little damage to the truck.

After the crash the road was shut down for repairs until Tuesday afternoon, but is now open to traffic.
