SEATTLE (AP) — A Delta spokeswoman says an unruly passenger on a flight bound for Amsterdam forced pilots to return the plane to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport shortly after take-off.

Airline spokeswoman Leslie Parker says Flight 224 left the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport just after 6 p.m. Saturday. About 30 minutes later, she says, a passenger disturbance prompted pilots to return to Seattle. The plane landed safely at 7:27 p.m. No one was injured.

Parker did not comment on the details of the disturbance.

She says the flight was canceled, and another flight, specifically for the Amsterdam-bound passengers, will depart Sunday.

A Transporation Security Administration spokeswoman told The Seattle Times that the disruptive passenger was taken to a local medical facility.
