The Cherryland Center strip mall near Traverse City is under new management.

McKinley, a property management company based in Ann Arbor was given receivership of the shopping center this week.

Officials with McKinley tell 7 & 4 News the center will stay open.

Cherryland Center was previously managed by Livonia based Schostak Brothers.  Wells Fargo foreclosed on the company earlier this year.

Meantime, Toms Food Market announced last week it would shut down its Cherryland Center store.  Doors are reportedly slated to close at the grocery store around the end of October.
