College fair at LSSU

SAULT STE. MARIE -- Students and parents can check out more than 20 colleges and universities when officials gather at Lake Superior State University this week.

The annual Upper Peninsula College Fair will take place Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Norris Center's Bud Cooper Gymnasium at LSSU. 

Admission is free.

"The College Fair is an excellent opportunity for not only students, but for their parents, as well," says LSSU Assistant Director of Admissions Al Case. "Representatives will be on hand to answer any questions concerning several areas of college life, including academic programs, admissions criteria and financial aid, in addition to any other questions students or parents may have."

Besides LSSU, the list of organizations being represented at the fair includes: Adrian College, Albion College, Alma College, Art Institute of Michigan, Aquinas College, Bay Mills Community College, Central Michigan University, Davenport University, Ferris State University, Finlandia University, Grand Valley State University, Great Lakes Christian College, Great Lakes Maritime Academy, Kendall College of Art and Design, Lawrence Technological University, Michigan State University, Michigan Technological University, National Scouting Report, Northern Michigan University, Northwood University, Oakland University, Olivet College, Ripon College, Robert Morris College, Siena Heights University, United States Naval Academy, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Western Michigan University.
