Summer home sales improve in Northern Michigan
LEELANAU CO. -- Local Realtors say summer sales made a significant leap from last year, especially in Leelanau County.
According to the Traverse Area Association of Realtors (TAAR), from June to August of this year, Leelanau County posted $19.8 million in home sales. That’s about $7 million more than what was sold last year. The Vice President of TAAR says a couple of big sales in the area along with early retirements in the state helped.
