CEDAR -- Paige Bugai is 8 years old and has Cerebral Palsy.   She struggles daily with Ataxia, Myoclonic jerks, eye movement problems, no balance and the constant threat of seizures.  The cause of these sides effects is undiagnosed.

For the past five years, Paige and her mom Brenda have been on a mission to find out what is causing all the medical problems.  They been to numerous trips for doctor appointments, including Detroit, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Clinton Township and Dearborn.

Brenda is trying to raise enough funds to buy much needed lifting equipment for her daughter, Paige and also set off the travel expenses.

The family is hosting a benefit dinner on Sunday, September 5th at the Solon Township Hall in Leelanau County's Cedar.  There will be music, dancing, food and auctions.  All proceeds will go to help Paige.
