Proceeds will stay in Otsego and Crawford Counties
GAYLORD, MI -- Wednesday may not have been a sweltering August day, but that didn't keep people away from chilly treats in Gaylord.
The Alpine Chocolat Haus is hosting an I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream fundraiser today for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Otsego and Crawford Counties.
For just one buck, you can get a medium-sized soft serve ice cream cone.
Proceeds from the event will go toward Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
"The money is used to just support our programs. The bigs in school, the lunch buddy program, and our community-based matches that we have," said former Big Brothers, Big Sisters President Lucy McCraven.
All of the money raised will stay in Otsego and Crawford Counties for Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
