Search for man involved in home invasion in Traverse City

TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Police are searching for a man who broke into a woman's apartment.

It happened around 3:43 a.m. Wednesday.

The resident in the 600 block of Bayhill Drive called 911 when she saw a man inside her apartment.   When police arrived the man had already ran away.

The victim says she woke up to a noise and saw the man inside her home.  When she screamed the man ran onto the back balcony and jumped to the ground.

The K-9 unit was called in the search the area but did not locate the man.  He's described as a white man, 5'7", 150 lbs, clean shaven, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
