Munson, U of M talks
TRAVERSE CITY -- New information about Munson's communication with University of Michigan Health Systems.
After our 6 o-clock newscast Friday Munson called 7&4 News and told us definitively that they are quote: "not in any active negotiations regarding a more robust affiliation" at this time.
In our earlier reports Munson did not give a clear yes or no answer about the question.
The University of Michigan Health System has told Munson that they would like to have an even stronger relationship into the future.
Munson has a number of clinical relationships with the hospital now.
Meanwhile, plans for a partnership with Spectrum Health is still being discussed.
Munson says they expect to make a decision regarding Spectrum in the next few weeks.
