Body of missing Northport woman found
NORTHPORT -- Update 12:12 a.m. Wednesday- The family of Dolsey Squires says her body has been found. It was located in Lake Michigan near Antrim County. Watch 7&4 News Today for more information.
UPDATE: 4:38 p.m. Tuesday - Sheriff's Officers say Dolsey Squires hasn't been seen since 1:30 a.m. August 16. She was wearing jean shorts and a turquoise tank top when she was last seen. Squires is a Native American woman who stands 5'5" and weighs about 225 pounds. She has long wavy black hair and brown eyes. No clues yet as to where she is.
BREAKING NEWS: 2:23 p.m. Tuesday - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 41-year-old woman who was last seen on the beach in Northport. A response boat from station Charlevoix and a helicopter from station Detroit are searching for her.
The Coast Guard says they do not know if the woman went in the water or not, but the Sheriff's Office told them that they found a towel and cell phone belonging to the woman on the beach. Right now that is all the details they had. More information will be released at a 2:30 press conference. We will bring you the latest tonight on 7&4 News at 5&6.
