Investigators say they have identified the mother of a baby that was found dead outside a Grand Traverse County home.
Deputies were called to the home on Gladewood Drive in May after a group of teenagers found the body inside a plastic bag.
Evidence gathered at the scene showed DNA results matched a person who had ties to the home.
The name of the mother is not being released at this time and the case will be handed over to the county prosecutor.
