TRAVERSE CITY -- A Benzie County Community is mourning the loss of a Marine killed in Afghanistan.
Marine Corporal Paul Miller, 22, was killed by a roadside bomb. Corporal Miller was an Engineer and began his tour of duty in Afghanistan in April.
Corporal Miller's body is being flown to Dover, DE this evening.
7 & 4 News spoke with Miller's father-in-law who said he was a "Fine young man, and that his daughter, is devastated with the loss of her husband and best friend." The couple was married 2 1/2 years and was planning on starting a family when he returned from Afghanistan.
Corporal Miller was a graduate of Benzie Central Schools.
