KINCHELOE -- Two inmates who tried to break out of the Kinross Correctional Facility Thursday, are now spending time behind bars of a maximum security prison in Marquette. A third inmate was shot and killed in the incident.
The three prisoners, Brian Davidson, Andrew Ross, and Seth Privacky, assaulted the driver of a Michigan State Industry semi truck, stole the vehicle and rammed a fence.
When the semi got stuck the inmates tried to run. Davidson and Ross were caught. Privacky was shot and killed.
Privacky, 30, was convicted of killing his parents, brother, brother's girlfriend and his grandfather on November 29, 1998 in Muskegon. Privacky was a teenager at the time of the crime.

Brian Davidson and Andrew Ross were both sent to the Marquette Branch Prison Thursday.


The Level V perimeter is protected with a concrete wall, razor-ribbon wire, electronic detection systems, and eight gun towers. Level I is surrounded by two chain link fences and an electronic detection system.
