CADILLAC -- Owners of a golf course in Cadillac are offering a $1,000 reward to find the person responsible for vandalizing the greens.
The damage was discovered early Saturday morning at the Briar South Golf Course.
Someone took a shovel and dug deep holes on the greens and used an axe to chop away the putting surfaces.
It took the course five hours to repair the surfaces, but because of the damage, it could take two to three weeks for the greens to be playable.
Officials say the cost of the damage and repair will cost at least $10,000.
