Galarraga's Imperfect game will stand.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Bud Selig won't reverse an umpire's admitted blown call that cost Armando Galarraga a perfect game.
Selig says Major League Baseball will look at expanded replay and umpiring, but not the botched call Wednesday night.
Umpire Jim Joyce says he made a mistake on what would've been the final out in Detroit, where the Tigers beat Cleveland 3-0.
The umpire personally apologized to Galarraga.
Detroit Tigers fans are expressing outrage over an umpire's blown call that cost pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game, and Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm is no exception.
Granholm issued a proclamation Thursday saying that Galarraga pitched a perfect game on Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians.
Granholm made similar comments Thursday morning on Mackinac Island during an interview with WJR radio, noting that Galarraga "was robbed."
Michigan Sen. Debbie Stabenow on Thursday urged Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig to invoke the "Best Interests of the Game" clause to declare Galarraga's performance perfect, and
Rep. John D. Dingell says he'll introduce a congressional resolution asking MLB to overturn the call.
